I had one of those strange dreams last night. One of those that makes no sense at all, yet it makes you feel a little uncomfortable. It was certainly weird enough to wake me up. It all started in the kitchen. Why in there of all places, I donโt know. There I am, stood with the look of a man who is totally perplexed. Then I saw something from the corner of my eye. (Like eyes have corners, theyโre not square are they?)
Hop To It
Over at the sink, just behind the hot tap, something small was moving. What could it be? In real life I would probably get out of there as fast as possible at the slightest hint of some small creature in our kitchen! Because it was only a dream, I was being very brave.
Greeny
On closer inspection I found that the โthingโ that had caught my attention was a tiny frog. It was a bright green colour too, almost fluorescent. Then there was another and another and some more. Soon, the whole area of the sink was covered with these green frogs, leaping, jumping, climbing on each other and yet it didnโt really bother me. Although, it must have had an effect to wake me up.
Next Day
Most of the following morning, it kept creeping into the back of my mind and making me ask myself questions. What does it mean? Why would I dream about frogs? Why so many of them and such a bright colour? In the end I decided to go online and seek out the meaning of it all. I have never done that before, usually, dreams are either good or bad and the next day they are forgotten about. This was different.

Good Google
You know how searching the internet sometimes can lead you to a frightening outcome. Things like searching for an itchy rash on the back of your leg and Google comes back with something like, โOh Dear, you have a rare case of green monkey fever and have at best two weeks left before you expire!โ Anyway, I took the plunge and searched for my dream about green frogs.
I neednโt have worried. Apparently, dreaming about frogs and green ones in particular is good news.
Green is the colour of nature. Seeing a green frog means you are starting a new phase of personal development.
- Wealth and Luck: Many traditions view green frogs as a sign of incoming money, prosperity, and good fortune.
- Emotional Healing: Frogs live near water. A green frog hints that you are washing away old emotional pain and finding inner peace.
- Transformation: Just like a tadpole changes into a frog, your dream shows you are adapting to big life changes.
So, just like a tadpole, I am adapting well. I think I may have an extra go on the lottery next weekend too. I may even treat myself to a new book about dreams.

Thank you. It certainly was and kept playing in my mind. ๐
I’m glad that your green dreams are positive dreams! While not dreaming, I have been seeing a lot of dead birds on my bike rides. Very weird… ๐
Thanks, John. Strange about the dead birds though. ๐ข
You are welcome Trev, and itโs damn strange!
A good outcome, Trev. Could be worse (Like the rash)
