Where have you gone?

Where have you gone? People keep asking me. I’m so greatful they do as it shows they are thinking of me. I haven’t really gone anywhere, although we did pop to New York at the end of March, courtesy to one of our daughters and her really nice husband. I haven’t been on here as much as I would have liked to have been, but mainly because I have been lazy.

Me Lazy?

I know, I said I am being lazy. I’m not really lazy, heavens forbid. I always like to keep myself busy. I have had a few chest infections too, far too many than I want. Actually, they spoiled my Christmas and New Year, being unable to venture out. It’s all my own fault for smoking like I did.

Yes, them!

And of course, the political news, not just here in the UK, but abroad too, especially North America. I think we all know who I mean. They all drive me crazy and not one of them are running the country like a Government should be. All of them, and I mean all politicians at the moment need their heads banging together. Maybe with a cricket bat. I shouldn’t say that should I?

More words

Talking of blogging, I have been thinking, could I use a more text based blog, no images except for the header? I think part of my problem with putting something together on here these days is the fact I have to come up with an image. I always like to create my own, but it can be quite time consuming and when you’re tired and your head feels like a tenpin bowling ball on the top of your neck, it can make the difference between pressing publish or not.

Trev & Jerry

The last few days we have had a mouse in the house! I have never been so scared in all my life. You would think there was the worlds most venomous snake loose around the place. Usually, spiders and the like don’t bother me, but knowing there’s a mouse loose about the house has really bothered me. I think I have found its point of entry, so thanks to wifey, that has been sorted and there hasn’t been a peep since.

Bye for now

I think that’s me done for now. Once again, many thanks to everyone who has messaged me asking if I’m fine. Hopefully, I can try and get myself back on self penning blog again on a much more regular basis. We shall see. Thank you.

  1. I hope you don’t mean President Trump, he is the best thing that has happened to my country in decades. The Democrats are the enemy within, trying to undermine every good thing the president does, including three attempts on his life. It seems that all countries are suffering from the Muslim invasion. They are rotten. Sorry…

    1. Really? President Pussygrabber who makes the people pay for illegitimate wars? Let’s kill all muslims then shall we? God fearing Christians. Or just steal the oil? Ever heard of the Ten Commandents?

  2. Hi Trev! Good to see you again. Yes, I understand being too tired or unmotivated to post something. I’ve been experiencing that myself. It’s enough to just stay healthy and halfway sane these days.

  3. Always good to see you Trev. You must do as you wish. The priority is always self and then family. I agree about politicians. Most of them seem to have forgotten that they are there to do the best job possible for their constituents, their country, and the world in general. Instead, they consistently argue and belittle each other and seek to enrich themselves and their cronies.

  4. Trev, it’s so great to hear from you and to know that you are as well as can be, considering these crazy times we now live in. No images; no problem. Your humor makes up for a hundred photos 😀

    1. Thank you as always, Rosaliene. It is crazy times, let’s hope things improve. I might still use images, I just haven’t made my mind up yet. 😊

    1. Ooooohh, I wouldn’t cope with that. I would like a cat, but I think he/she would bring more little animals in as presents. 😢
