Who Took The Time?

They say time flies by, especially as you get older and they’re not wrong. Just who took the time? One moment, it’s the end of August, the next it’s nearly the end of the year. Perhaps I’m having way too much fun, or busy or even both? I’ve not even had time to be really grumpy.

It’s Been Too Long…

I never realised that my blog was showing something like the end of August since I last made a post on here! Apologies, I was up to writing at least a blog every week or even more on a few occasions. So here I am, popping in to say Hi and hope everyone is keeping well and maybe looking forward to Christmas.

Summer Was Gorgeous

It was such a lovely Summer this year, especially here in Wales, in the middle of nowhere. Those long, hot sunny days, lounging about in the garden, busy doing nothing. I do appreciate that time. I appreciate all time, but there’s something special about being outside on a warm summers day in a place where you want to be with the people you want to be with. Oh, and maybe a beer.

Check Up Time

I’m due for my 6 month medical checkup next week and I’m kind of worrying that I might be in for a jolly good roasting! I promised at my last checkup that I would try my very best, (they obviously don’t know me too well) to lose a bit of weight. I did try, well, for at least 5 minutes, but I think I may have put a little more on. Is there a way to lose weight quickly within the next few days. Someone did say to me, ‘it’s easy to lose 15lb of ugly fat.’ I asked them how and the reply was, ‘chop your head off!’

no Resolutions For Me

I don’t make new year resolutions, I know how daft they are to put yourself under so much pressure, especially after time spent with friends and family. However, I am going to try and write this blog a bit more than I have of late. As my old headmaster would say, he can do much better! On that note I will wish everyone a happy weekend and see you on the flip side.

  1. I agree about the pace of time, and I especially agree with this lovely sentence: “There’s something special about being outside on a warm summers day in a place where you want to be with the people you want to be with.” Just re-reading it makes my body take an involuntary sigh. Deep breath in. Deep breath out. That’s why I love camping with family members during the summertime. I hope your checkup goes well.

  2. I hope your checkup goes better than expected, Trev! Those summer days are so very sweet, aren’t they… Its good to see you back! Have a fine weekend, Trev. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  3. Great to see you back, Trev! I spot you regularly ‘liking’ my posts; you are usually the first one to do so. Time is much too fleeting, for sure. Every moment counts. ~Ed.

    1. Thank you, Cheryl. If Iโ€™m honest, I could do with more exercise, but as Winter approaches, I tend to lock myself in by the fire. ๐Ÿ˜Š
