That stew works on so many fronts. Warm bread out of the oven. Oh yes.
Thank you and yes, it’s so nice.
This chicken stew sounds delicious. I love homemade soups and stews. Oddly enough, I’ve planned a beef stew for our evening meal, also using the slow cooker and will be serving with dumplings! ????
Thank you, Sue. It is lovely and full of goodness. I’m not keen on dumplings, but otherwise yummy.
Swede I’m not familiar with…but I just made a beef soup last week with leftover roast. Enlighten me?
Swede is a roundish root vegetable and it has a pale orangy colour.
It may be rutabaga in American English?
Thank you librepaley8
Thanks! Yes
Blimey, this would be good to come home to after a fifteen mile hike over the high moors … or even an afternoon spent down the pub!
Thanks Dave. I like mine on a cold winters night.
????????I wish I could smell it from here. I have one problem I can’t smell. It looks and sounds delicious. ????????

There is no better soup than when it cooks in the slow cooker! Yours looks delicious!
It looks good. ‘ll try it once, but for 6 hours such a long period.
