Right, where to start? Apologies for being missing in Action for at least a month or two or perhaps, even longer. I got myself a couple of infections, nothing serious, but enough to stop me doing all the things I love to do, including the ‘keeping up’ of this blog.
Normality
When I did finally get around to some normality, I found there was a backlog of jobs that needed my attention, so I had to focus on those for a while. Pretty mundane things, but as I get older, everything that I used to be able to do while spinning on my knob and balancing a banoffi pie in one hand while reciting the poetry of Browning suddenly became very difficult. I can no longer remember the poetry!
I Did Keep Reading Your Blogs
Anyway, it’s good to be back and although absent from participating in my own blog, I did keep up with my favourite fellow bloggers blogs, which as always has kept me entertained and informed. Being on your back and totally useless for a time does give you a chance to think. So I’ve been thinking.
Updating
My blog needs a tidy-up and some things deleting while adding other items that I feel are humorous. I will see what I can conjure up without frazzling my brain. I wonder if I add a ‘blog of the month’ from the gazillion blogs out there, it all helps each other and thinking about it now, it’s something that we can all do, ‘My Favourite Blog of The Month isβ¦β¦.’ drum roll and you get the idea.
Truly Blessed
Well, there we have it, my excuse for being missing for the past couple of months. I’ve lost count of the Covid test kits I have used, but thankfully, all of them came back with negative results, which is positive if you see what I mean. I truly am blessed to have missed out on catching that dreadful thing.
Till The Next Time
Usually, this is where I put a link to the subject I’ve been writing about, but as this is just a sort of ‘absence note’ I will put a link to a How To Start A Blog which I’m sure someone will find useful. It’s good to be back.

Very sorry to hear you were laid low. Not much fun that. Then bouncing back to be faced with “jobs”. Anyway I’m glad to see you here again and look forward to your tidied-up blog! Not that I saw anything wrong, you know. Stay well now! XX

May I suggest a contender for ‘blog of the month’?

Thank you. π
I wrote a comment this morning but it’s disappeared! This is the second time today that my comments have gone walkabout after I pressed SEND! I’ll start again…
Welcome back Trev. I’ve missed you and of course your very humouous posts.
I’m so sorry you’ve been poorly and I hope you get back to being fully well soon. Seeing as you mentioned Covid testing, I’m guessing the problems have been with your old chest problem.
I noticed your absence, but as you sometimes have a little break from writing I assumed this was another. I did notice the lack of your usual comments on my posts. I assumed you weren’t keen on the content! I ought to have known something was wrong. I’m so sorry about that.
Stay well, Trev π
Thank you, Sue. I have been reading and liking your posts as I always do, it’s just that I couldn’t stay too long looking at a screen, for some reason it made me feel a bit dizzy. Yes, chest infections which seem to have been really troublesome this year. Thank you again for your very kind words. Sorry you’ve had trouble commenting, I really have no idea why. π
Glad to know you are still here… :o)
Thank you very much, that’s very kind of you. π
No apologies needed, but itβs wonderful to βseeβ you again and know youβre well. Take care, Trev!
Thank you, Crystal that is very kind of you. Very much appreciated. π

Welcome back Trev! I wondered where you’d been! You seem to be managing humor quite fine all on your back without juggling so much. It happens to the best of us. Blog of the month sounds good. I’m just glad you’re feeling better and the dreaded C didn’t get you!
hugsπ
Thank you so much, Cindy. Very much appreciated. π
So there you are! Well done, shaking off those infections: that’s no joke. And if you can do two ridiculous things at once, you deserve a medal.
That’s very kind of you, Rachel. thank you very much. π
